SOPHIE & WILL’S OSEA ISLAND WEDDING
“I simply don’t know what to say. You have captured the day in a way we never could have hoped for or imagined. All the images are SO incredible, you’ve revealed parts of the day we didn’t even know existed. I cannot thank you enough for these photos – I thank the day that we found your website. Your talent stretches far beyond the realms of what we hoped for, really, you have given us the most beautiful, incredible memories.
I am literally speechless.
Thank you SO SO much for all your hard work, on the day, afterwards and getting these to us. A million, million hugs and thank you’s.”
You’d never find this place unless you were a migratory sea bird or swam across the Blackwater Estuary at high tide. Alternatively you can wait until low tide and drive across the bed of the causeway or arrive by boat like the guests did. It’s a place of natural beauty that isn’t easily accessible and has remained unspoiled making it one of the most unique locations for a wedding that I’ve come across.
Sophie and Will chose Osea Island for its stunning setting as well as the unique historic buildings dotted around the island which was a naval base during the first World War. It was my first time shooting a wedding in a former bomb factory and power house as well as in the Shack, where the guests partied well into Sunday morning at the after party.
Thank you to the fantastic human being that is Rachel Manns for second shooting. And thanks to Will for pushing my car out of a ditch.
