Pricing and FAQ

“I simply don’t know what to say. You have captured the day in a way we never could have hoped for or imagined. All the images are SO incredible, you’ve revealed parts of the day we didn’t even know existed. I cannot thank you enough for these photos – I thank the day that we found your website. Your talent stretches far beyond the realms of what we hoped for, really, you have given us the most beautiful, incredible memories.

I am literally speechless.

Thank you SO SO much for all your hard work, on the day, afterwards and getting these to us. A million, million hugs and thank you’s.” – Sophie and Will

What's included

Typical coverage starts with getting ready in the morning and finishes half an hour or so after first dance when I’ve got enough party shots to tell the full story of the day, which is usually around 9 – 10 hours. But I'll tailor the hours to suit you, so get in touch if you want short or long coverage. Dates are often booked months in advance, so get in touch to check availability and request a brochure for details of pricing and all the options. Send me an email, I’d love to hear more about your day.

Every wedding I shoot includes:
– A pre-wedding consultation. To get to know you and talk about your wedding.
– All of the edited, high resolution images in a downloadable, online gallery for you to keep and print from. It’s quality over quantity every time but if I think it’s a good picture then I’ll include it. You usually receive something in the region of 500 images for a full day, but it depends on how long I’m with you for on the day.
– An online gallery and slide-show. Your pictures in a password protected web gallery and slideshow.
– Me and sometimes a second shooter. Working hard to photograph your wedding in all its glory!
– I also offer fine art wedding albums. I’m available throughout the UK and for destination weddings world-wide.

Packages start at £1650.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is documentary wedding photography?

A: For me it's about telling a story, capturing the moments between family and friends sympathetically and honestly so you have a permanent memory that you'll cherish after the day has gone. No set ups or direction from me.

Q: But don't you also do couple portraits?

A: Although I spend most of the day doing documentary wedding photography I also really enjoy a quick session of couple portraits. It's often a great way to unwind for a few minutes during the day and couples often comment how much they enjoy it.

Q:  Do you take formal family shots?

A: Most definitely! I think a few are an important part of wedding photography, particularly for parents and relatives. But I prefer not to call them formal, as they don't have to be traditional line ups. I recommend doing around 5 or 6 shots as they can be time consuming and you'll probably prefer to spend your time with friends and family.

Q: How many pictures do we get?

A: For a full day, around 9 - 10 hours, I usually deliver in the region of 500 pictures. It's definitely about quality rather than quantity but if I think it's a good shot I'll include it. I try to capture as many of your family and friends as possible, but the emphasis is definitley on creating compelling shots that tell the story of the day rather than getting a snap of everyone.

Q: How do we get the pictures?

A: After I've edited the pictures they are yours to download in an online gallery. I supply the pictures in low and high resolution, so good for computer use as well as printing. They're yours to keep, print and share with family and friends without restriction, other than commercial use.

Q: Do you travel for weddings?

A: I love travelling for weddings, so don't hesitate to get in touch if your wedding is in a remote part of the UK, Europe or the world! As well as the UK, I've shot weddings in France, Italy, Finland and New Zealand.
