Chateau d’Urval wedding photographer

“The pictures are stunning, we can’t stop looking at them to the point that it’s wanting us to do it all over again. We have scrolled through the photos about 5 times and absolutely LOVE them. Thank you so much for capturing our day so perfectly.” I’m starting to lose count how often I’ve been a Chateau d’Urval wedding photographer and comments like this make it such a rewarding and humbling experience.

Chateau de la Bourlie wedding photography

It’s safe to say Chateau d’Urval is one of my favourite venues on the planet! Firstly it’s a chateau in one of the prettiest parts of France. That would usually be enough to excite most wedding photographers. But it also oozes a wealth of character and is charming without trying too hard. So it’s no surprise that I was pretty excited when I received Abi and Seb’s enquiry for their wedding here.

I’m always amazed how one venue can look so different depending on how it’s styled for a wedding and each couple and their guests bring their own personalities and energy to the occasion. Chateau d’Urval has a laid back feel and in a way it’s typical of the surrounding area and people. Abi and Seb embraced the vibe and their wedding was relaxed, emotional, fun, full of love and laughter. The way a good wedding should be. Thank you Abi and Seb for having me along to photograph your day, it was a pleasure to be a part of it.

Thanks to Kate at Marry Me in France for her expert planning, her calm in dealing with a downpour seconds before the ceremony started and also for looking after me during the day. I’m already looking to my next wedding there.
