Agate and Greg’s Dordogne wedding at Chateau de la Bourlie was the second time I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at this amazing venue in the south west of France. There’s something special about an outdoor ceremony which really engages everyone present and makes it a communal experience. Greg’s a New York theatre director so there was always going to be an element of drama about the day, and so it probably didn’t surprise anyone when two of his actors played out the opening scene from Romeo and Juliet at the start of their humanist service. It set the tone for a day brimming with theatre, tears, joy and dancing into the small hours.
